Want to be a staff member next year?

Click here to commit to being a volunteer staff to help coordinate the event, and we will be in touch with you shortly. Please

Staff

Those who attend meetings (monthly to weekly) and are actively involved in planning the event are considered (volunteer) staff. Each staff member is assigned a specific committee that they are to take part in. Leaders of these committees will be appointed to take charge of leading their subgroup by keeping tabs on their group’s progress and to help their group members with any assignments they may have trouble with. This means that new staff members will get plenty of help, so don’t worry that you won’t know what to do or how to do it! Staff may also be asked to help speak or give a presentation for a church, school, or youth group.

Qualifications for staff

·         Ages 13-18 (for leadership positions)

·         Ready to commit time, energy, and effort

·         Responsible and punctual

·         Cooperative

·         Good listener

Volunteers

If you are an adult interested in volunteering, you are welcome to sign up to help on the day of the event. You can also donate bottled water, hotdogs, or buns. This job requires less time and is ideal for those with very busy schedules.

Qualifications for volunteers

·         Available all day on the day of the event

·         Punctual

·         Good communicator

Walkers

We always need walkers. This is a very good way to help our effort. We ask that walkers collect pledges if they can. Putting up flyers and telling others about the stroll is always great too!

Qualifications for walkers

Anyone can walk. Bring the whole family and a few of your neighbors.

Churches, schools, youth groups, scout troops, 4-H clubs etc.

If you would like to get your group involved, please fill out one of the sheets located at the welcome table (where pledges are collected) and drop it in the box. This doesn’t commit you to anything. We will only send you info for next year.
